Job Title: Paraprofessional
We are seeking highly motivated and caring individuals to join our team of paraprofessionals in Northeast Los Angeles. As a paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher by working with individuals and small groups to reinforce instructional material.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in special education and contribute positively to their development. The position comes with a competitive hourly rate and a Monday to Friday schedule within regular business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in providing instruction and support to students.
- Work with individual and small groups of students to reinforce instructed material.
- Assist in compiling classroom communications and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Support students with personal care or hygiene needs as required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time)
- Proficient in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Experience working with personal care
- ParaPro Certification or similar
- Past work experience in a school
- CPI Training
