Salary and Benefits: This role comes with a competitive hourly rate between $21-$25 per hour, paid weekly. You will also enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule within hours of 7/7:30-3:00/4:30 pm, with no requirement to work weekends.
Job Description: As a Teaching Aid in Special Education, you will support the classroom teacher by working with individuals and small groups to reinforce instructional material. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with individual and/or small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
- Supporting personal care or hygiene as needed
Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma
- US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time)
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Past work experience in a school
- CPI Training
