What you'll be doing :
The Junior Compliance Specialist supports the compliance team in ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory standards and internal policies. In a more practical sense, much of the day to day work involves reviewing educator profiles to ensure that documentation and details about their references, background checks, right to work status, mandated training, immunizations and more are aligned by state and federal standards as well as Zen Educate standards. The impact of this role is significant as it ensures that Zen Educate is doing everything possible to put safe and qualified educators into classrooms to work with children.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review documents and ensure requirements are met for all onboarded educators.
- Assist with background checks.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments with direction from the Compliance Manager.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation.
- Assist your senior team members in investigating compliance-related issues and documenting findings.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Provide administrative support to the compliance team as needed.
Minimum requirements :
Preferred Experience :
Any administrative or compliance work experience is an asset, particularly with completing background checks.
