This role comes with a competitive hourly rate between $19 - $22 per hour, paid weekly.
Job Description:
As a Paraprofessional, you will support the classroom teacher by working with individuals and small groups to reinforce instructional material.
You will get the opportunity to positively contribute to the lives of children in special education and make a meaningful impact on their development.
Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher in creating a conducive learning environment
Work with individual and/or small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
Compile classroom communications
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student learning experiences and provide necessary support
Support personal care or hygiene as needed, specifically toileting
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
US Work Authorization; Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time
Professional proficiency in English
Experience working with children with special educational needs
Experience working with personal care, specifically toileting
