That's why we've created our On Call Substitute Teacher program, which allows you to work in various schools within the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metropolitan Area while gaining valuable experience and exposure to different teaching styles and behavior management principles.
As an On Call Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing lesson plans, maintaining a classroom environment conducive to learning, and supporting students in completing their learning materials. Your role will involve leading the classroom for the duration of the school day, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for all students. Our on-call substitute teacher roles are perfect for those who need more flexibility and a role that fits their schedule.
We offer a competitive hourly rate between $180 - $210 per day, paid weekly, as well as access to paid sick leave and the opportunity to contribute to a 401K plan (subject to certain eligibility criteria). With our On Call Substitute Teacher program, you can enjoy a flexible schedule with no requirement to work weekends and a range of hours between 7:30 - 3:00/4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications:
- Minnesota Teachers License
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Professional proficiency in English
- US Work Authorization (Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time)
