Duties
- Install a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
- Perform fixture installation as needed to support flooring projects.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs and project timelines.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing flooring.
- Apply caulking to ensure proper sealing around edges and fixtures.
- Participate in restoration projects, including repairing or replacing damaged flooring.
- Work with drywall as necessary during installation processes.
- Buff floors to achieve a polished finish when required.
- Assist with cabinet installation when flooring projects overlap with cabinetry work.
- Build custom solutions for unique installation challenges.
Skills
