What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Porter/Janitor position at Zen Technology?
- Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Summary:
The Day Porter supports continuous cleanliness during facility operations, ensuring that all high-traffic areas remain safe, sanitary, and well-stocked throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and clean high-traffic areas throughout the day
- Restock restrooms and perform mid-day sanitizations
- Clean up spills or messes promptly to prevent hazards
- Respond to service requests from agency personnel
- Sanitize surfaces such as counters, door handles, and chairs regularly
- Lock up cleaning closets and track supply usage daily
Qualifications:
- 2 years of janitorial or day porter experience
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for long periods
- Must be punctual, dependable, and presentable
- Must wear company uniform and badge
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
