Job Description:

Zen Well Studio is seeking a skilled and passionate Yoga Instructor to join our team. As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for leading classes that cater to individuals of varying skill levels and promoting a positive and nurturing environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and a commitment to promoting overall wellness. Prenatal yoga experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting Yoga Classes: Lead yoga classes for individuals of all skill levels, incorporating a variety of styles and techniques to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Creating a Positive Environment: Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participants to explore and deepen their yoga practice.
• Demonstrating Proper Techniques: Instruct and demonstrate proper yoga techniques, postures, and breathing exercises, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Providing Personalized Guidance: Offer individualized adjustments and modifications to accommodate participants with varying abilities and limitations.
• Building Relationships: Establish positive relationships with clients, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing guidance on incorporating yoga into their overall wellness routine.
• Staying Informed: Stay updated on industry trends, new yoga practices, and relevant research to continuously improve and enhance the quality of classes.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Space: Ensure the yoga studio is clean, organized, and safe for all participants. Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
• Promoting Classes: Assist in promoting yoga classes through various channels, including social media, community events, and collaborations.

Requirements:

• Certification: Hold a recognized certification in yoga instruction from a reputable training program.
• Experience teaching yoga classes to individuals of various skill levels. Prenatal yoga experience a plus.
• Specialized Skills: Possess expertise in specific yoga styles (e.g., Prenata, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin) and the ability to adapt teaching styles based on the needs of the participants.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Passion for Wellness: A genuine passion for promoting holistic wellness and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional and punctual demeanor, including adherence to scheduled class times.
