Job Summary:
As a Window Consultant, you will play a crucial role as the first point of contact for customers interested in our windows (and doors). You'll be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within your assigned territory and ensuring the smooth execution of window projects from start to finish and potential warranty issues. This role emphasizes a team environment where everyone provides backup and support to one another.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for customers interested in our windows. Proactively identify and address customer needs. Provide information, answer inquiries, and guide them through the window selection process. Check in with customers post-install to ensure they are satisfied or escalate as needed. Assist in obtaining 5-star reviews. Utilize consultative selling skills.
Sales Management (From Start and Beyond): Oversee all sales within your specific territory, from the initial customer engagement to project closure. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and ensure that all jobs are successfully closed out.
Data Management: Input all relevant information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for efficient tracking and reporting.
Quoting and Financing: Create quotes for window purchases and coordinate financing with clients, including credit applications when necessary.
Operations Handoff: Confirm a seamless handoff to the operations team for product ordering and project execution.
Sales Reporting: Assist in tracking and compiling monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports. Set and monitor both long-term and short-term sales goals and margins.
Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment where everyone provides backup and support to one another. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience and successful project execution.
Off-Site Duties: Assisting with unloading deliveries at warehouse, house calls to present samples, customer home visits for warranty photos, and marketing events based on company needs. Travel as required by management.
Additional Duties: The employer may assign additional duties/training from time to time as needed for the effective functioning of the company.
