What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Lifeguard position at Zena Recreation Park?
Under the supervision on Pool Manager and the Park Director. Lifeguards will ensure the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
- Professional appearance is maintained at all times.
- Performs various duties to keep the park clean and safe throughout the summer.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures set forth in Zena Recreation Park Employee Manual.
- Knowledge of all Safety and Emergency procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current certification in American Red Cross lifeguarding/CPR/AED.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
