Knowledge Management Specialist (MS SharePoint)

Overview: This position will support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (ODASA) Research & Technology (R&T) in Arlington, Virginia and requires an active SECRET clearance.

What You'll Do:

Provide DoD client with knowledge management support, to include creating, maintaining, and modifying information databases using SharePoint or similar product
• Maintain database user access; promote database use; and provide technical support and training for database
• Create, maintain, and edit policies relating to the databases
• Analyze existing processes and develop process improvements to gain efficiencies in operations, improve workflows, and enhance communications across the office
• Coordinate with office personnel to create and maintain a file naming convention, file architecture, and other tasks in support of data management efforts
• Assist with the creation of navigation options to improve the user experience
• Work with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide graphics and multimedia support

• Demonstrated proficiency with knowledge management / website creation and tools (SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, and SharePoint Online)
• Well-versed in SharePoint-based applications and technologies, including but not limited to, InfoPath Forms, Workflows, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Bamboo Solution
• You have prior experience working for the United States Army
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing

• Knowledge of the DoD organization as a whole
• Active secret-level security clearance

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems or Master's Degree
• Preference for holders of Army Knowledge Management Qualification Course (AKMQC) Certification
• At least 3-10 years of relevant work experience

• This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Active clearance highly desired.
