Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at a reputable hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a fast-paced medical environment.
Location:- Seattle, WA 98104
Duration:- 13 Weeks contract with extension
Pay rate:- $28- $32/hr . (with Joining & Attendance Bonus)
Shift:- Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic medical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital or medical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with basic life support procedures
- Experience in dermatology, emergency medicine, or working in an operating room (OR) is a plus
- Understanding of medical coding practices is advantageous
- Exposure to Level II Trauma Center operations is beneficial
Requirements for Medical Assistant
- 1 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is required
- Valid WA Medical Assistant License Required.
- BLS.
