Responsibilities
Your Daily Life at Bethesda Game Studios
As UI/UX Designer, you will...
- Rely heavily on Photoshop, Flash and AS3 scripting to implement new assets and designs to create vibrant, exciting user interfaces
- Be responsible for the upkeep, modification, and improvement of existing user interfaces (main menu, loading screens, in-game HUD, inventory, and other 2D graphic design elements)
- Work to design these systems and screens under the direction of Design leadership
Qualifications
What Makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
- You have 3 years of User Interface experience
- You have a solid understanding of UX and interaction design
- You possess the ability to take design briefs and develop them from outlines to hi-fidelity mockups
- You are knowledgeable of Icon language and its use
- You are familiar with good use of typography, layout, graphic design, and composition in user interfaces
- You have refined skills in graphic design and motion graphics for AAA User Interfaces and Game art
- You are self-motivated, but able to take feedback/criticism and properly reflect comments in work
- You are an excellent team player with very strong work ethic and a collaborative/cooperative attitude
- You have an understanding of and appreciation for milestones, schedules, deadlines and efficient game development processes
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills
- You possess an understanding of scripting in AS3, Javascript, C
- You have a passion for games and gaming

- You are familiar with the Fallout franchise
- You have experience working with games as a service, live products and Monetization teams
- You have a university or equivalent degree
- You possess a drive to learn new toolsets and skills in technical art and tools creation
- You have experience with Scaleform-based interfaces
- You have prior experience working on AAA games
