Job Overview
The Links is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Beverage Cart/Pool Cart Attendant to enhance the guest experience. The ideal candidate will maintain the beverage and pool carts, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and ready to serve guests. In this role, you will deliver refreshments to our guests, assist with poolside service, and maintain a safe and inviting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders at the pool and golf course areas.
- Provide prompt, courteous service by delivering orders to guests in a timely manner.
- Cart Maintenance:
- Prepare, stock, and maintain beverage and pool carts with refreshments, ice, and necessary supplies.
- Ensure carts are clean, organized, and operational throughout the service period.
- Operational Duties:
- Monitor and replenish inventory levels, notify management when supplies are low.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory, as required.
- Safety & Sanitation:
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of carts and service areas.
- Regularly inspect the carts for any maintenance issues or hazards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members and management to support special events, promotions, and peak service periods.
- Communicate guest feedback to help improve service standards.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience handling cash transactions and operating point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving supplies or equipment (up to 25-30 lbs).
- Personal Attributes:
- Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license is an asset if operating a motorized beverage cart is required.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily outdoors, in varying weather conditions.
- Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Occasional lifting and manual labor required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.31 - $11.84 per hour
