Operations Warehouse Supervisor

Full time, dynamic supervisors are needed to join our team. Qualified candidates should have warehouse experience, excellent people skills, as well as business management and leadership experience. Supervisory experience in a union environment is preferred but not required.  Bi-lingual preferred.

Essential Functions:

1. Provides direct daily supervision of warehouse associates to achieve prescribed operational objectives within established timelines and in accordance with quality, safety, inventory control and customer satisfaction guidelines.
2. Develops and implements work schedules and assignments to meet customer demands.
3. Tours the warehouse regularly to answer questions, evaluate operations and solve problems, and ensure compliance with safety, security and sanitation procedures.
4. Makes recommendations to the Operations Manager on programs and procedures to improve warehouse operations.
5. Ensures efficient utilization of equipment.
6. Schedules and conducts safety meetings.
7. Through coordination with Operations Manager, establishes employee goals, provides coaching and training, conducts performance reviews and performs disciplinary action.
8. Enforces and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations.
9. Establishes and maintains a professional and courteous relationship with all customers.
10. Assists in ensuring the security of the facility and its employees, contents and surroundings.
11. Ensure there is training program in place and documented for all job functions.

Position Requirements:

1. The position schedule is 7:30am - 5:30pm (could be later - based on business needs) to include week-ends with 2 scheduled days off during the week.
2.  Must be able to work week-ends and holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are exceptions).
3. Previous warehouse management-level experience is required (manager, supervisor, lead).
