Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and manage the nursing department, including hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
- Ensure adherence to medical protocols, resident rights, and safety regulations.
- Oversee the completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care in assisted living, home health, hospice care, and other settings.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Stay current with advancements in medical terminology and nursing practices to enhance team performance.
