A Brief Overview
Overview: Working independently within established procedures, provides administrative support to assigned function (an individual, team or department), performing a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties, primarily relating to support of efforts of assigned function.
What you will do
- Review and condense medical records prior to sending them to the PQMEs.
- Daily review interpreters’ legal bills thru Smart Advisor and provide recommendations to bill review to pay or deny payment of the interpreters’ bills.
- Review and respond to demands for payment from interpreters.
- Maintain objections to EORs spreadsheet from Copy Service Providers.
- Organizes and prioritizes own workflow.
- May organize and maintain office files, records, and documents.
- May handle phone calls and correspondence not requiring the personal attention of others.
- May, within agreed upon limitations, makes administrative decisions and take action on behalf of others.
- May maintain appointment and meeting calendars, perform scheduling functions, make airline and hotel reservations, and keep others informed of commitments.
- May compile regular and special reports, obtaining and selecting data from various sources as required.
- May compose own letters as well as general correspondence from marginal notes or verbal instructions.
- May provide preliminary research on problems or activities as assigned.
- Work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.
- Respond positively to direction and feedback on performance.
- Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma Or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training/experience preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 5 Years secretarial or administrative assistant experience required
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required - possessing advanced Word, Excel, and graphics software skills.
- Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Work experience demonstrating advanced organization skills required.
- Specialized skill training/certification/licenses may be required. (Recruiter to confirm at time of posting).
The expected salary range for this position is $60,034.40 - $75,043.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job level.
