We are seeking a skilled JEE/Web Application Developer to design and develop robust web applications within our IRS Portal Applications. The ideal candidate will adhere to project guidelines, perform necessary
testing, and maintain web applications as required to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
Primary Duties
- Design and develop web applications in compliance with project guidelines (50%)
- Perform unit testing and integration testing as needed (15%)
- Conduct code maintenance based on testing and production issues (15%)
- Support the integration of portal web applications with backend applications (10%)
- Document software design and code (10%)
- Proficiency in JEE (Web Application, REST, Servlets, JSP, XML, JAXB, SAX, DOM, Log4J), HTML 5.0, JavaScript, XSLT, SOAP (8 years)
- Experience with Spring MVC v5.x framework, SpringBoot, React, Angular, Maven, Section 508 (5 years)
- Knowledge of JBoss EAP v7.x development and administration (4 years)
- Familiarity with Apache Web Server v2.4 (4 years)
- Ability to develop automated unit tests using JUnit (4 years)
- ACTIVE MBI CLEARANCE REQUIRED (MINIMUM BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION CLEARANCE)
- Experience with Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) for source code and defect management
- Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and AWS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with CMMI Level 3 standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), formerly Rational Team Concert (RTC)
