Sr. Python Consultant (Remote)

Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Databricks (Python Notebook) to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources and integrating into target Semantic Layer.
Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the ETL process.
Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.
Monitor ETL processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in Databricks and other relevant technologies to continuously improve ETL processes.
Participate in team scrums, discussing progress and addressing any issues.
Implement changes in development environments and perform unit tests before integrating changes into Pre-Prod / Production environments.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Python ETL Developer with a strong focus on Databricks.
Proficiency in Python for building ETL data pipeline development.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, EDC, Axon).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
