We are seeking a highly driven, knowledgeable, and growth-oriented telecom professional to assume the role of Sr. Carrier Relationship Manager at {company}. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain business relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISP), IP Transit vendors, and Data Centre Operators.
- Proactively identify suitable sourcing opportunities for data center, network services, and partnerships to meet network expansion requirements, reduce costs, and leverage external suppliers and partners as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Network Leadership Team to define, develop, and deliver an integrated and aligned strategy to support short-term and long-term goals of the company.
- Manage network services procurement and ecosystem investment, including ongoing management of network operating costs related commitments.
- Create and implement effective procurement strategies for major networking equipment and accessories by working with internal business units on potential future projects.
- Develop and present weekly and monthly P&L management reports.
- Expand vendor channels for different networking equipment and accessories, including due diligence and cost negotiation.
- Identify operational process issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Travel to visit vendors as needed.
- Perform other tasks deemed appropriate by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese.
- Background in procurement, network interconnection strategy, network planning, or internet peering in telecom, data center, AI, or cloud industries.
- Degree graduate in business administration or related field.
- At least 8 years of related working experience in similar roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent computer skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and responsible.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
