POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Attorney to join our team, responsible for providing comprehensive estate planning services to both prospective and returning clients. The ideal candidate will conduct consultations, analyze client estates, and prepare tailored estate plans. This role requires drafting precise legal documents to align with clients' planning needs and recommendations. The Attorney will be based in our Sacramento and Auburn offices, working on-site five days a week, with location flexibility based on business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients to gather essential information and provide tailored estate planning recommendations.
- Meet with existing and former clients to review and update estate plans, ensuring they reflect current needs and circumstances.
- Provide fee quotes and manage the client engagement process for the preparation of estate planning documents.
- Prepare and finalize engagement agreements, either in-person or via DocuSign, and process client payments.
- Complete necessary client documentation, including Client Intake Forms, Client Review Conferences, and Design Sheets.
- Utilize Lawcus and Asana task management systems to track tasks, monitor emails, and respond to client correspondence promptly.
- Review drafted estate plans to ensure they align with client objectives and recommendations, addressing any concerns or questions during client reviews.
- Identify opportunities to refer clients to affiliated financial advisors and facilitate the signing of required Disclosure and Consent Forms.
- Maintain clear and detailed notes of all client interactions, ensuring accurate documentation within client files.
- Participate in regular team meetings, including bi-weekly Estate Planning Department Meetings, monthly all-staff meetings, and periodic Attorney and Advanced Planning Meetings to discuss complex cases and technical questions.

Pay: $153,266.00 - $190,000.00 per year
