About The Role:
We are currently searching for an Intern who is passionate about Corporate Public Relations to join our team. This position will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, with a focus on supporting programs and initiatives for our Corporate clients.

- Should your qualifications align with our needs, we will reach out for you to complete the Corporate Summer Intern Writing Assessment.
\n- Assist with compiling monthly reports for the client, showcasing organic and secured placements.
- Conduct research to aid in the strategy development process for current clients and new business pitches.
- Create and distribute mailers, press kits, and briefing kits.
- Draft media materials, including but not limited to press releases, fact sheets, briefing sheets, and pitches.
- Identify key trends to help teams stay on top of current buzzworthy news.
- Manage the day-to-day admin activities for 1-3 accounts.
- Monitor client and competitor media coverage and draft coverage recaps for the team.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and program ideation.
- Work closely with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients’ business.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms.
- Collaborative spirit, results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with the public relations, marketing, or communications discipline through past coursework, internships, or personal experiences.
- MS Office proficiency is a must.
- Must be pro-active and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team.
- Passion for and understanding of public relations and media landscape.
- Strong organizational skills.
Pay rate: $18/hour USD
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
