Position Overview
One of our Department of State contracts is seeking an experienced Intermediate Business Process Analyst to provide essential program support. The ideal candidate will excel at clearly and effectively communicating complex information. In this role, the ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze metrics, helping to build a comprehensive metrics catalog. A solid understanding of process improvement methodologies is required to ensure that all documentation and procedures align with established standards and best practices.
Clearance Requirement: Candidates must hold a minimum Interim Secret clearance and be able to secure and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment
Work Location: Washington, DC
Work Schedule (Hybrid): Three (3) days onsite at the customer's facility and two (2) remote days; work schedule is subject to change based on customer needs and without prior notice
Requirements:- Design and implement performance measurement frameworks, KPIs, and data analytics to assess task progress and operational efficiency
- Track performance metrics, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and recommend adjustments to optimize results
- Implement data-driven procedures that involve identifying, analyzing, and implementing changes systematically.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Develop comprehensive and professional reports, draft action memos, process documentation, procedures, and formal correspondence for senior leadership
- Draft Findings Remediation Plans and status updates to address identified issues and drive corrective actions
- Work closely with internal and external teams to collect and analyze key metrics, contributing to the development of a comprehensive metrics catalog
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment on project objectives, expectations, and resource needs while effectively conveying complex information
- Maintain and update executive dashboards to provide leadership with real-time insights into key operational metrics
- Identify project risks and challenges, collaborating with teams to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Conduct research on industry trends and recommend process improvements to drive innovative and data-driven solutions
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering high-quality documentation and analysis in a professional environment
- Proven experience in performance measurement, KPI development, and business intelligence
- Proficiency in data analytics platforms such as Tableau and Google Analytics
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain executive dashboards using PowerBI or other tools for leadership insights into project activities
- Strong analytical mindset for metrics collection and analysis, deriving actionable insights to improve programs and services
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effectively conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency in project management tools and schedulers
- Ability to write processes and procedures
- Expertise in business analysis tools and methodologies, including requirements gathering and process mapping
- Strong organizational and time management skills, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams, fostering open communication and continuous improvement
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, fostering positive stakeholder relationships for collaborative outcomes
