Summary: Oversee and manage construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the company’s quality standards. Maintain vendor accountability while delivering the best possible experience for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, schedules, and binders to familiarize yourself with project specifics.
- Participate in project kick-off and pre-construction meetings.
- Monitor project schedules to ensure all activities are on track.
- Review plans, sketches, and change orders to fully understand the project scope.
- Verify project specifications and selections to determine current and required resources.
- Review scopes of work for each trade to effectively direct them on-site.
- Meet with trades at the start of their work to confirm their scope and responsibilities.
- Supervise daily trade labor and material deliveries.
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to generate and post change orders.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of material deliveries.
- Work with vendors to confirm material takeoffs and manage returns after construction phases are complete.
- Review and approve all project payment requests.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate updates or adjustments as needed.
- Conduct final quality control walkthroughs with each trade upon completion of their work.
- Take and upload daily progress photos to BuilderTREND, ensuring photos are properly numbered and labeled.
- Generate daily logs for each site under your supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
- Secure all job sites at the end of each day.
- Manage walkthrough meetings with stakeholders.
- Attend all required owner training sessions.
- Maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean and properly serviced.
