Position Overview :
Seeking a Licensed Landscape Architect with a passion for sustainable design and a talent for bringing outdoor spaces to life. In this role, youll contribute to land development and municipal engineering initiatives, including easement dedications, right-of-way abandonments, site plan modifications, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine landscape designs for a variety of projects (residential, commercial, parks, streetscapes).
- Create planting plans, hardscapes, grading, stormwater management, and irrigation designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and environmental specialists to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct site analyses (soil, topography, environmental considerations) and manage land development permits.
- Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and detailed specifications.
- Maintain regulatory compliance (environmental, zoning, local, state, and federal).
- Present design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and government entities.
- Oversee construction administration, including site visits and contractor coordination.
- Keep current on industry trends, sustainable practices, and best practices in landscape architecture.
