Job Title: Project Manager – Steel Fabrication
Summary: Seeking a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate and oversee multiple steel fabrication and construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining strong customer relationships and a focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors.
- Provide regular project status updates, schedules, and manage change orders.
- Foster transparent, proactive communication across all project stakeholders.
- Resource & Configuration Management
- Develop and adjust project work plans based on evolving requirements and resource availability.
- Oversee procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective material delivery.
- Monitor budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence to policies and objectives.
- Coordination & Liaison
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for project success.
- Identify opportunities for business development and share relevant information.
- Technical Competency & Development
- Stay current with industry practices and technical skills.
- Work with leadership on professional development plans and training.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Support company operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of project management experience in steel fabrication or construction (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability to manage processes, coach teams, and drive improvements.
