What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Dimensional Inspectors Needed position at Zentech Consulting?
Job Summary:
The primary role of the QC Dimensional Inspector is to perform dimensional verification of in-process shop fabrication based on shop drawings and specifications. The inspector will also have the opportunity to train in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
Essential Functions:
- Support and enforce all company safety policies to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Verify conformance of products to shop drawings and contract specifications by:
- Performing dimensional checks using a tape measure.
- Conducting visual inspection of welds, and performing NDT testing, including MT and UT.
- Generate or provide input to the QC Manager for inspection records as required.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
- Perform minor calculations using a calculator as needed.
Additional Duties:
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support company operations.
Quality Standards:
- Read and understand drawings, codes, and specifications to ensure all fabrication procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Follow all safety requirements and protocols.
Teamwork:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture in collaboration with the safety department.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- 3 years of experience in the field.
- Ability to professionally communicate, both verbally and in writing, with coworkers, other departments, and managers.

Reports to Corporate QA/QC Manage

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
