Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our corrections healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals in a correctional environment, ensuring their medical needs are met while adhering to strict safety and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for inmates.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate inmates on health issues and self-care practices.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in SC.
• Experience in corrections or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available to work 3 days a week.
• Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
