Position : Database Developer & PostgreSQL Programmer

Location : Austin TX (Onsite 3 Days a Week)

Key Skills & Experience :

  • PostgreSQL & PL / SQL : Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Migration : Experience migrating databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL (preferably on GCP Alloy DB / Cloud SQL).
  • Performance Tuning : Expertise in tuning PostgreSQL / Alloy DB including autovacuum optimization.
  • GCP Services : Handson experience with BigQuery Firestore Memory Store Spanner Cloud Dataflow and Database Migration Service.
  • Database Management : Disaster recovery job scheduling logging techniques and OLTP / OLAP knowledge.
  • MongoDB Experience : Understanding of NoSQL databases.
  • Certifications (Preferred) : GCP Database Engineer Certification.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop test and maintain data architectures.
  • Migrate enterprise Oracle databases to GCP Cloud.
  • Tune PostgreSQL / Alloy DB for optimal performance.
  • Convert Oracle stored procedures & queries to PostgreSQL.
  • Design hybrid data solutions integrating PostgreSQL with GCP Data Warehouse & NoSQL solutions.
  • Lead the database team and ensure best practices in database management.

  • Problemsolving leadership innovation and decisionmaking.
  • Strong project management scope planning and risk management abilities.
