Job Title: Lead BI Engineer
Experience: 10 Years.
Mandatory Skills & Certifications:
Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service)
Strong expertise in SQL and databases (Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Postgres)
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
Experience with Cloud-based data intelligence platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
Power BI certification or relevant Data Platform certifications
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSRS
Knowledge of Power BI Admin features (versioning, usage reports, capacity planning)
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl)
Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience in BI migrations and Generative BI implementation
Soft Skills & Business Acumen:
Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Exposure to Retail, BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom business domains
Understanding of SDLC and risk mitigation strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, SSRS
Collaborate with business analysts and BI leads to improve key business metrics
Ensure timely and high-quality deliveries of BI reports and dashboards
Guide and mentor BI engineers, review their work, and provide technical direction
Manage client communications and deliverables
