Job Title: SCADA Programmer (Hybrid)
Location: New York, NY (Partial Remote)

Job Overview:
The SCADA Programmer will configure, troubleshoot, and optimize SCADA systems to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and security. This role involves both office-based work and fieldwork at industrial facilities, collaborating with clients, vendors, and teams to deliver quality SCADA solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and troubleshoot SCADA components, including LTE routers and Real-Time Automation Controllers.
- Work with client engineering teams to set up secure communication paths for SCADA equipment.
- Perform root-cause analysis to resolve SCADA software issues.
- Maintain databases and generate reports on SCADA data.
- Collaborate with vendors and project managers on equipment inventory and acquisitions.
- Ensure deployments meet quality and cybersecurity standards.
- Travel within NYC/Westchester (up to 20%).
Required Skills:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 3 years of professional experience in SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of SQL/MySQL.
- Experience with programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with MS Visio.
- Experience with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories automation controllers and Digi LTE routers.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems in industries (e.g., energy, water, gas).
- Understanding of networking protocols and SCADA standards (e.g., DNP, TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485).
