OVERVIEW:
The Chemical Operator runs various chemical production equipment and may receive bulk raw materials used in the process for manufacturing of molecular sieve products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loads raw materials into equipment hopper from conveyor, scales, and intermediate container, or hand trucks
- Monitors assigned system processes to ensure quality output of product
- Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications
- Packages product into containers
- Identifies worn equipment and accessories
- Cleans equipment and work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- HS diploma or GED
- At least 2 years’ experience working with production equipment
- Should be mechanically inclined and able to read detailed instructions
- Forklift Experience strongly preferred
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to work 12 hour shift
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check
