Summary of Responsibilities
The Production Manager oversees remodeling projects from contract to completion. Key duties include pre-construction planning, scheduling, material ordering, site supervision, team management, client and trade relations, and handling production paperwork. This position requires a strategic leader skilled in organization, collaboration, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Essential Functions
- Participates in the design phase to ensure construction details are not overlooked, able to make on-the-fly changes to keep the project moving
- Oversees solutions for issues during production beyond Lead Carpenters' capabilities
- Provides construction insight and knowledge to field staff
- Orders all special-order items, including cabinetry, doors, and windows; ensures accuracy before ordering (requires unrelenting attention to detail)
- Develops and maintains relationships with Trade Partners, employees, and clients,
including preemptive communication and availability for quick responses some nights and weekends
