This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong eye for design, materials, and space planning who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to create functional, aesthetically pleasing residential spaces that align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.

Summary of Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our residential construction team. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to create functional, aesthetically pleasing residential spaces that align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences for residential spaces.
- Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and material selections.
- Create detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and floor plans using Chief Architect and other software.
- Select and source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures within budget constraints.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Prepare and present design proposals, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and construction techniques.
- 3 years of experience in interior design
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in residential construction or home remodeling is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect, 2020 Design or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with clients and project teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt designs to construction constraints.
- $50,000-$70,000 base salary, depending on experience
