Logistics Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Logistics Manager, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the entire process of moving and storing goods. This includes managing inventory levels, coordinating transportation, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

· Always adhere to safety policies and procedures.

· Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service.

· Select carriers, negotiate shipping rates, scheduling inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries.

· Respond to any issues or complaints.

· Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.

· Evaluate costs, budgets and expenditures.

· Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

· Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.

· Track key logistics metrics like delivery times, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.

· Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.

· Maintain transparent communication with various project team members and coordinate activities among involved teams.

· Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Strong leadership and management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all team members.

· Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions.

· Comprehensive understanding of the entire supply chain process, including procurement, warehousing and transportation.

· Experience working with transportation companies and brokers.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

· 5 years of experience in a similar role in logistics, supply chain or relevant field.

· Proven experience in a leadership role in the fast-paced environment of wind generation services and product fulfillment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
