Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor at Zeppelin Systems USA to oversee the installation and commissioning of our advanced process automation systems. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure successful system installations, while providing excellent client support and training.
Duties include:
- Oversee installation of complex process automation systems including pneumatic conveying, particle handling, and dust abatement equipment
- Lead commissioning and start-up operations for new installations
- Provide comprehensive client training on installed systems
- Perform equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Coordinate with programmers for system integration
- Conduct rigging and lifting operations using shop cranes and forklifts
- Maintain detailed installation records and documentation
- Travel extensively for field service and support
- Diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues
- Ensure optimal system specifications through precise adjustments and calibration
Experience/Skills:
- 5 years experience as an Installation Supervisor or similar role
- Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical plans, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong understanding of pneumatic and electric diagrams, PI&Ds
- Proficiency in technical manual interpretation
- Experience working in industrial environments with various safety requirements
- Physical capability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent team collaboration and leadership abilities
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Experience with international travel and client relations
Educational/Training/Residency Requirements:
- Technical training or equivalent experience in industrial systems
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to obtain a passport
- Ability to travel throughout USA, Canada, and Latin America
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ferrous and non-ferrous metal welding and fabrication
- Forklift operation certification (training available)
- Electrical trade experience, including panel wiring
- PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities
