Our client, a large firm with 11 national locations, offers their professional staff the opportunity to take their careers as far as they can envision. We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our client's Orlando, FL office to support the insurance defense/product liability litigation team.
The ideal candidate must have experience in case management, document production, working with experts, review of medical records, medical chronologies, discovery investigation, discovery responses, trial preparation, and experience working with State and Federal courts. The position requires exceptional oral and written skills, the ability to manage and prioritize a large volume of caseload, work in a team environment, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information related to cases and clients.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting
- Familiarity with document production processes and procedures
- Document review databases and platforms
- Trial and deposition preparation
- Experience required in electronic filing in state and federal courts and Westlaw research
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
- Trial attendance is a plus
- Conscientious and detail-oriented
