Zero Gravity Basketball is a youth basketball event operator based out of Woburn, MA and the market leader of grassroots events, primarily operating on the East Coast. Zero Gravity plans and manages basketball tournaments, leagues, prep school showcases, and camps for children and young adults. Participants span from beginner level 2nd graders through Top-100, Nationally Ranked HS prospects. Zero Gravity has many established partnerships including Under Armour, Jr. NBA, Spalding, Gatorade, BeTheBeast, Yeti, & Simax.
Zero Gravity Basketball is a part of 3Step Sports LLC, the nation’s largest and most impactful youth sports club and event operator. With more than 2,500 events and 1.1 million participants in nine sports each year, 3STEP has an indelible impact on athletes and families in all 50 states. 3STEP basketball is made up of the most influential people & brands in grassroots basketball including The Hoop Group, Select Events, ESPN Recruiting & the National Prep Championship series.
Job Description :
The Zero Gravity Basketball Creative Content Co-Op is a 5 month (February-June) paid position out of the 3Step Sports Corporate HQ in Woburn, MA. Co-Ops will work under the guidance of ZG Regional Directors & Leadership to plan and implement creative content into the social cadence of the ZG social platforms on a daily basis. This role offers the unique ability to gain hands on experience in sports media, marketing, and event management within a fast-paced environment. The Ideal candidate will. be a creative thinker with a passion for basketball, storytelling, & digital content.
Key Responsibilities :
- Capture photo and video content at Zero Gravity Basketball events.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.) before, during, and after events.
- Assist in editing and producing highlight reels, promotional videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that enhance brand visibility.
- Manage on-site event logistics, including registration, scheduling, and customer service.
- Coordinate with coaches, players, and event staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
