Job Title: Recovery Resource Navigator (Receptionist)
Position Overview:
The Recovery Resource Navigator ensures organizational efficiency by contributing to the success of Zero Hour Life Center's recovery-focused mission. This role bridges operational excellence and participant-facing services by providing accurate information, facilitating access to resources, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. Recovery Resource Navigators are adaptable and versatile, prepared to support various organizational functions as needed while maintaining a commitment to professionalism and teamwork.
General Responsibilities:
- Support the mission, vision, and values of Zero Hour Life Center by fostering a recovery-oriented and team-focused environment.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all tasks.
- Provide effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as a resource to participants by delivering timely and accurate information about available services and resources.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and maintain familiarity with organizational goals and procedures.
- Accurately complete documentation and maintain detailed, organized records relevant to participant interactions and assigned tasks.
- Greet and welcome RCO guests and participants to the recovery center.
- Provide information to guests and participants, including details on RCO services, meetings, coaching, SOAR, and other programs.
- Gather information from guests/participants and provide appropriate referral information.
- Alert staff when a guest/participant is waiting to be seen.
- Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Take phone messages, check voicemail, and forward messages to the correct staff person.
- Assist with keeping the RCO clean and neat.
- Complete tasks assigned by a supervisor, such as filing, data entry, or callbacks.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and community events/meetings as necessary.
- Call participants to remind them of upcoming appointments.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in recovery services, social work, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Ability to type 45 wpm or greater.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work tasks.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address emerging challenges effectively.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward individuals in recovery.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
