Program Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Program Manager will support the United States Navy in administrating Naval Expeditionary Programs (EXM) Professional Support Services program. This position requires services to support the research, development, acquisition, and support of several programs including CREW, JEOD, UWEOD, ExMed, ATA, and other future programs that are assigned to the contract. The program will include tasks to be executed in various locations including NAVSEA Headquarters, at the contractor’s assigned duty location, or any other DD-254 approved off-site location. Other sites may be required on an as directed basis or may be permitted on as requested basis.

 MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Undergraduate degree or 15 years of demonstrated engineering or program management experience with a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role
• 10 years of demonstrated work experience in Program Management in support of DoD Program Management Office (PMO), Program Executive Office (PEO), or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience in communicating, interacting, and working among Senior Executive Service and Flag level personnel
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/ services; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

• Graduate degree in business or engineering management related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PMP and/or DAWIA Level III PM certification or 15 years of PM experience
• 8 years of demonstrated work experience supporting acquisition programs related to Navy expeditionary or anti-terrorism afloat missions, Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (CREW), non-lethal or scalable effects weapons, or NSW systems or equipment
• Prior military experience within component of Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) or United States Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC)
• Possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
