What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Management Specialist I - Renewable Energy position at Zero6 Energy, Inc.?
Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide asset management oversight for a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, hydroelectric and EV Charging, including performance reporting responsibilities, service provider communications, occasional site visits and other duties surrounding asset management.
Primary Functions
1. Fulfill technical requirements of the Asset Management contracts including:
· Track and verify Operations & Maintenance (O&M) provider’s response to equipment outages and performance deficiencies
· Manage and maintain tickets reflecting Operations and Maintenance issues
· Identification of equipment issues and project underperformance
· Interact with our internal software database, Radian Digital, for tracking physical characteristics of the asset, communications, and data integrity
· Review and correct project data for monthly performance reports
· Track Performance and Availability Guarantees and work with O&M provider to address anomalies
· Provide feedback to Lead Portfolio Manager on O&M performance and field operations
2. Other responsibilities:
· Documentation of processes and procedures
· Identification of troubleshooting solutions
· Site visits, usually outdoor locations

Position Requirements/Qualifications Education/Experience
- Trade certificate, vocational school, or high school diploma; post-secondary helpful
- Work experience or knowledge in renewable energy or EV Charging is helpful
- Basic business and financial acumen
