Zerorez® is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill our hybrid position of Maintenance Mechanic & Shop Specialist. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Our fleet consists of Chevy and Dodge vans with on-board, CDS carpet cleaning pumps, heaters and vacuum units. Previous mechanical work is required and we will train you on the required maintenance and repair of carpet cleaning equipment and tools. This hybrid position will also clean area rugs in the facility.

Requirements

• Review daily work assignments and complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responds to road calls and makes repairs in the field.
• Communicate any repairs you are unable to complete with the Business Manager
• Have an understanding of and execute the preventative maintenance program for the fleet and all related cleaning equipment
• Complete oil changes / change fluids
• Communicate all parts, tools and supplies needed to the Business Manager
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace. All tools put away and any spills cleaned up at the end of your shift
• Inspection, diagnosis, and repair of Zerorez vehicles, and equipment for scheduled and unscheduled mechanical repairs and maintenance activities.
• Inspect and test equipment repairs to monitor proper functioning.
• Clean Area Rugs in the shop
• Repair all carpet cleaning tools used by our technicians
• Keep our fleet management software updated with all work performed to vans and equipment
