Area Rug Division Technician

• Ensure successful completion of rug cleaning. This includes:
   
  ·      Thoroughly documenting & inventorying rugs when received
   
  ·      Meticulously following each step of the cleaning process and ensuring quality targets and production targets are met.
   
  ·      Thoroughly prepare cleaned & dried carpets for pickup / delivery.
   
  ·        Ensure efficient production operation, including:
   
  ·      Ensuring proper maintenance & cleaning of equipment
   
  ·      Ensuring production area follows standard operating practices (ie: 5S)
   
  ·      Assisting with the training of other employees
   
  ·      Immediately reporting issues to Manager/Supervisor and participating in solutions
   
  ·        Develop expertise in the cleaning and operating processes. Attend and apply training. Obtain expert certifications as requested.
   
  ·        Cross-train within the company to be able to assist in other areas (ie: Rug delivery and pickup).
   
  ·        Routine support for the business including Attendance and participation in meetings, constructive feedback to improve the operation, timely reporting of problems, etc.
   
  ·        Personally, exemplify Zerorez cleaning and professional standards, helping other employees to learn and do the same.
   
  ·        Effectively manage the time, resources, and costs of the company
   
  ·        Loading, transporting, and delivering rugs in a safe, timely manner.
   
  ·        Reviewing orders before and after delivery/pick-up
   
  ·        Loading and unloading rugs safely from vehicles
   
  ·        Abiding all traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving record
   
  ·        Preparing relevant reports/documents relating to deliveries
  
  

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must maintain valid driver’s license and participate in random drug testing
• Clean criminal background check (exceptions may be considered at the company’s discretion)
• Carpet cleaning experience preferred
