Strategic Procurement Manager
As Strategic Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of electrical vehicle supplies, components, and equipment. You will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationship activities to support the company's EV charging stations production and operations. Your focus will be on securing high-quality supplies at competitive prices while adhering to company standards and sustainability practices. As an EVSE Purchaser, you will have a crucial role in supporting the company's EVSE production and sustainability goals. Your expertise in sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management will contribute to the successful operation and growth of our electrical vehicle initiatives.

Job Description:
- Investigate and evaluate market trends for raw materials or equipment supply information to determine procurement needs and timing.
- Assess and manage suppliers' capabilities in future development, pricing, quality, and reliability to obtain the most competitive prices and related transaction conditions.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, establishing strong partnerships with suppliers.
- Develop domestic suppliers and stay updated on component material development/pricing trends to meet various material requirements for different markets and customers.
- Evaluate and quote costs for RFQs (Request for Quotation) of new product materials, develop plans and actions to reduce material costs.
- Strengthen cross-departmental communication and coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic procurement or strategic sourcing roles.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the procurement field.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools (like Office / ERP).

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA; Monday- Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.
