About the Role
Zest AI is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to propel our next phase of growth. In this newly created role, you will have a front-row seat in the decision-making process. You will gather data from diverse sources, transforming it into intelligence and actionable recommendations. By combining analytical expertise and business acumen, you will visualize findings that help track performance and forecast trends, working closely with our leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all things involving data and analytics – include data input, mapping, cleansing, and maintenance, as well as reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations
- Use the existing automated data processing code snippets and build upon them
- Become an expert user of tools such as: Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Anaplan
- Identify opportunities to streamline procedures and improve system efficiencies
- Perform ad hoc analysis to facilitate decisions on financial analysis, KPI, sales and marketing analytics
- Continuously learn and develop new skills to keep up with business growth
- Provide support for various tasks to assist the accounting and FP&A team
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in tackling complex, data-driven challenges, with working knowledge of finance, relational database management, data analysis, data visualization, and performance tracking
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; quantitative or analytical background is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis and statistical models
- Proficient in SQL, with working knowledge of at least one analytical coding language (eg. Python, R, VBA, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills, with experience collaborating across functional teams
- Capable of maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Ability to document business updates and strategic plans, and to quantify the financial impact of proposed tactics and new developments
- Intellectually curious, highly self-motivated, with a can-do attitude, and a quick-to-learn mindset
- Someone who wants to make a significant positive impact on Zest AI and the society, while being part of an amazing and tight-knit team
