Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Applications) for our direct client.

Location : Sunnyvale CA

Duration : 6 months

Estimated pay range : $48$60 / hr per client contract and candidate skills experience and work location.

Job Description

  • Design enhance and maintain objectoriented Python libraries and applications used for manufacturing factory machine control and testing.
  • Develop pytest unit tests and integration tests for new and existing code.
  • Most of the work is for backend Linux software.
  • Additional work is available for frontend web development.

Skills and Experience

  • Expert in Object Oriented Python Requests sockets multithreading
  • RESTful APIs JSON
  • Testdriven development using pytest fixtures mock
  • Git version control Jenkins CI / CD
  • Desired : Vue3 Framework HTML JavaScript Node.js

  • Software Engineer (Applications) : Analyzes designs programs debugs and modifies software enhancements and / or new products used in local networked cloudbased or Internetrelated computer programs.
  • Code may be used in commercial or enduser applications such as materials management financial management HRIS mobile apps or desktop applications products.
  • Using current programming language and technologies writes code completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • May interact with users to define system requirements and / or necessary modifications.
