Amick Brown is looking for an experienced System Support Analyst I for an implementation project at our direct client in the public sector.
Location : Port of San Diego, CA
Duration : 6 Months
Estimated pay range : $30-45 per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.
We are looking for a System Support Analyst I (Help Desk) who can work on-prem 8am-5pm to help our team for up to 6 months. This person will be working in our System Support (Help Desk) team onsite helping our customers.
Systems Support analyst will :
- Be customer focused, provide quality IT support, provide effective and timely customer interactions, and provide resolutions and ticket assignments.
- Improve IT's speed, efficiency, and effectiveness for Tier 1 / 2 Service Desk customer interactions by being available and escalating to next level when needed.
- Log every customer interaction in a ticket system including resolving tickets or similar
- Improve early identification of major Incidents by correlating multiple related customer reports and taking appropriate action efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance to users for entering IT Service Requests and self-service tools that are available to customers (ex : password resets) and assistance in navigating to other support entities.
- Provide all Help Desk troubleshooting on all software and hardware issues.
- Escalate relevant tickets to next level when needed, and without delay.
- Perform routine tickets including, but not limited to :
- Passwords unlock / resets
- Troubleshooting end-user Windows operating system issues
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite questions and issues
- Install and configure new computer hardware and software
- Identify the cause of a problem and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Mobile Device questions and issues
- Troubleshooting applications like Adobe, DocuSign, Teams, etc.
- Install / Uninstall / Reinstall software applications as necessary
- Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues
- Install or map printers / troubleshoot
