What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Zeta Eta House Director position at Zeta Eta House Corporation of Delta Gamma?
Are you looking for a property management job and in the San Marcos, TX area? Currently the Zeta Eta chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity has an opening for a part-time house director. This position would require someone to be at the house about 25 to 30 hours a week to manage the property of a 100-year-old house.
What does a Sorority House Director do? Under supervision of a volunteer House Corporation Board, you manage the property. You would work with both collegians and the House Corporation Board to ensure a safe living environment for 7 collegians that call the Zeta Eta Chapter House, “home”.
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring a safe and productive environment for collegians and staff
- Communicates house maintenance issues to the House Corp Board and coordinators all routine maintenance issues in a timely manner. Notifies House Corporation Board of major repairs that exceed agreed amount with estimates that need to be done. Report immediately to the House Corporation Board all hazards and damages that require insurance claims.
- Meets with the House Manager and Chapter President Regularly.
- Manages multiple preferred service providers while staying within budget.
- Responds appropriately during all emergency situations by contacting appropriate parties.
- Creates a strategy for the long-term care and upkeep of the facility for the House Corporation Board.
- Obtains several detailed estimates for all work to be completed on the House.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and scanning.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and go up and down stairs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous property management experience required.
