What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Executive Officer position at Zeta Psi Fraternity and Educational Foundation?
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and manage all Zeta Psi staff including oversight of all operations and the daily supervision of direct reports.
- Consult with and implement the strategy and direction of the Fraternity Executive Committee and the Foundation Trustees to continuously improve each chapter and alumni association globally, across seven countries and eight time zones.
- Manage key stakeholders and volunteer leaders, develop and maintain clear lines of communication between the Fraternity President (Phi Alpha), Undergraduate and Elder Chapters, and the President of the Zeta Psi Educational Foundation, and its members. Coordinate volunteer-led and managed initiatives, including those within Zeta Psi’s strategic plan.
- Maintain primary responsibility for the financial and fundraising results of Zeta Psi, including budgeting, operational performance, and fundraising activities, among others. Manage identification, cultivation, engagement and stewardship with current and potential donors.
- Ensure consistent business and operational components of Zeta Psi, including but not limited to, accounts receivable, billing, chapter services, active and elder rosters, and other critical operational activities. Manage database systems and processes, consistently reviewing for improvement opportunities.
- Manage implementation, updates and chapter accountability in accordance with Zeta Psi’s governing documentation, including, but not limited to, the Constitution, By-laws and Rules Enforcement Policy.
- Ensure positive partnerships and manage relationships with active chapters, local alumni associations, relevant colleges and universities, trade association partners, expansion initiatives, third-party vendors, educational foundations, and others as designated by the Executive Committee or the Trustees.
- Direct and host the Zeta Psi Annual Convention.
- Serve as the spokesperson for Zeta Psi Fraternity and the Zeta Psi Educational Foundation.
- Direct special projects on an as-needed basis.
