Electrical Engineer

Zeus Power Supplies, experts in sourcing top-quality electric power distribution equipment for utility companies, manufacturing facilities, and new construction areas, are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a focus on Quality Assurance. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all products sourced meet the highest standards of safety and performance, involving overseeing the testing process conducted by our partners and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and define precise specifications for electric power distribution equipment such as pole line hardware and distribution transformers.
• Oversee and coordinate testing processes conducted by manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with national and international standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to assess and select suppliers whose products meet our rigorous quality criteria.
• Liaise with manufacturing partners to understand their processes and drive quality improvements in the products sourced.
• Provide technical support for the development of new products and enhancements to existing products, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Keep abreast of industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements that impact product design and functionality.
• Manage documentation related to product testing, certification, and compliance.
• Lead troubleshooting and problem resolution activities, facilitating communication between internal teams and external partners.
• Offer technical expertise to support sales and customer service teams during client engagements and product inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in quality assurance and product compliance.
• Expert knowledge of industry standards and certifications pertaining to electrical power distribution equipment.
• Proven track record of managing external partnerships and overseeing quality assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
